Abstract This report aims to highlight the trends of reading in Egypt in general, through an overview of the reading atmosphere in Egypt, in addition to monitoring the current status of reading by identifying the reading preferences of the Egyptian families, the types of the subjects they preferred to read, and identify the reasons for lack of turnout on reading some books, newspapers and magazines.
